Her story
Dr. Prachi studied medicine and trained in obstetrics and gynaecology at two well-known Indian medical colleges: Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad. She earned her MS and DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and later the MRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London.
Her interest in fertility took her to the United Kingdom, where she trained with the British Fertility Society in IUI, fertility ultrasound and embryo transfer, and worked as an observer at Oxford University Hospitals. She also completed a PG Diploma in Reproductive Health from Oxford.
Today she is Senior Consultant and Centre Head at Birla Fertility & IVF, Gurugram, where she sees couples at every stage: some planning ahead, some trying for a while, and some who have been through treatment elsewhere.
